Supported devices

'avit is supported on the following devices:

• iPhone (1st generation)
• iPhone 3G
• iPhone 3GS

'avit requires a camera to scan the barcode and will not run on an iPod Touch.

Barcode recognition will be faster on the iPhone 3GS with its autofocus camera but it is entirely usable on the 3G and 1st generation iPhones also. (See the 'avit screencast for a demonstration; it was recorded on a 1st generation iPhone and the barcode recognition sections have not been edited.)
